Since keys require programming to link them to your car, we aim to make this process of programming your car key as convenient as possible. Most car keys have an integrated transponder chip that is used to deactivate the vehicle’s immobiliser, which means the key will need to be programmed to the car. A key is normally made up of 3 components: the metal key blade, the remote control that works the doors etc and the transponder that works in conjunction with the immobiliser system.
